Two more episodes of the podcast for you!

One the first, we cover the world of off-brand LCD handheld games, specifically those that share the name "Crazy Kong"! From construction site climbing to princesses in castles, escaping the military, and even haunted houses, these games cover a lot of ground. There's also the debut of our "Listener Questions" segment!




And on the second, we tackle a handful or two of arcade era knockoffs and bootlegs and put them under tribunal as to whether we should cover them on the site or not!

Hey there!

In the spirit of "games that predate the modern Rare shared universe, but inform it" like the arcade Donkey Kong titles that we love so much here at DKGirder, I wanted to take a sidestep today and talk about some other titles that inform the lore of today.

Milo and I have produced another wonderful podcast episode!

It's been far too long! Almost a full year in fact!

I can't apologize enough for the lack of updates. As happens to the best of us, life has gotten a bit in the way. I'm currently exploring options that will allow me to spend more time on this, and maybe even provide some dedicated funding for Girder-related projects. We'll see what the future holds!

In the mean, time, friend Milo has doggedly continued to make content for me, which I shall finally get off my ass and start putting on the site!

His first work for us is this video compilation, showing us some of the journeys of Donkey Kong Jr over the years :D

Super Mario Odyssey is right around the corner, and I'm back for an update!

Sorry about the lack of lead-in coverage, I've been avoiding spoilers!
